This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210. This is a 100% Small Business set aside. The reference number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is HM165306T0035. The NGA plans to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under FAR Part 12 and 13. The requirement is for the following items: Part = DART. Terra Vista Dart Software. Qty = 2 Part = M1-DART. Terra Vista Dart Maintenance. Qty = 6 (4 renewing from previous purchase). Period of Performance: 09/09/2006 to 09/08/2007. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: Terra Vista DART uniquely contains an internal compression capability that allows products to be compressed to a single CD or DVD, simplifying dissemination. It automatically ingests Socet Set generated imagery, terrain and feature databases to generate photo-realistic, geospatially precise, real-time roaming, 3-D emersion databases. It also gives full user control over scene resolution enabling ?to the horizon? detail. Terra Vista DART also provides a free, full function GOTS viewer which was developed for SOCOM for distribution of created databases. Vendor must be an authorized reseller of Terra Vista DART products. Vendor shall quote all or none of the listed items. Delivery is FOB Destination to NGA Washington Navy Yard, 1200 First St. SE, Washington, DC 20303-0001 . Total cost shall include all shipping and handling. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the vendor by the Government.
