Full Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is procuring a two-year license for turbomachinery design software, TURBOdesign - 1. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Advanced Design Technology, Ltd. TURBOdesign - 1, has the ability to run on a PC, the speed, the ability to generate a blade shape based on the given loading, the ability to account for blade thickness in the calculation, and ability to interact with the ANSYS structural/fluid analysis code suite. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 04/16/08.
