Full Description

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to Mak Technologies to procure the program protection plan for VR-Link that provides unlimited software licenses for Submarine Piloting and Navigation (SPAN) 2000, Reconfigurable SPAN and the Virtual Environment Submarine Navigation Team Trainers. The requirement includes one developer license and one year of maintenance support. This sole source award is based on FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Mak Technologies holds the proprietary rights to the product and does not provide the product for sale by resellers. Specific versions of the Mak RTI and VR Link products were used by NAWCTSD and other sub-contractors to develop the simulation software, which by High Level Architecture convention, requires all products be of the same version. The delivery date will be 30 days from time of award. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
