The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections is looking to procure sniper rifles to be delivered to 11781 St. Rt. 762, Orient, Ohio 43146.Specifications:We are requesting a Green MDT ACC elite GEN 2 chassis that allows adaptability of the rifle system to individual rifleman that can vary in size and stature. A built Remington 700 clone (Black), nitrated action with fitted M24 barrel (Black), 18 inches in length, chambered in .308 Winchester, with a 1:10 twist. The barrel should be threaded on the crown for use of a suppressor. A trigger with a reliable and repeatable pull weight of 3-3.5 lbs. A Nightforce NX8 2.5-20 variable zoom with the Tremor3 reticle, which is the industry standard for reliability of the mechanical components, as well as the durability of the optic as a whole. A one piece optic mount, to introduce fewer variables that can malfunction with repeated use. Atlas Bipod with canting feature, but without the panning feature, that can attach with ARCALOCK rail system that is a part of the chassis. A titanium suppressor with a flow-through design. Hub mount or direct thread is optional on the suppressor. ARCALOCK Clamp with arm for the mounting of sandbag/bag attachment for shooting from common, non-prone positions. Two sand bags able to be attached with the ARCA arm, one large and one small for each rifle. 2 AICS magazines for each rifle system. We are requesting16 total rifles, 12 right-handed and 4 left-handed. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections is looking for a buyback of 13 Ticka T3xTact A1 guns of various conditions. To the best of our knowledge, the attached document of the gun inventory is a good representative of all of the weapons on hand. Lastly, this is one solicitation that will be awarded to the supplier that offers the best purchase and buy-back opportunity. The agency is requesting a two-month transition period between the time the new shotguns are received and turning in for the buyback shotguns. This will allow an appropriate time for training on the new weapons and delivery to the institutions.
