725-6US-2924- Install Utility Pole Project

Caltrans has approved an encroachment permit allowing Pacific Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T to conduct utility work within the state right-of-way along State Route 150 at post mile 31.38 in Santa Paula, Ventura County. The project involves excavating a 10 square foot area with a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a length up to 10 feet to install a new ground bed adjacent to a jointly owned SCE/AT&T utility pole. The ground bed will include the direct burial of #6 AWG bare copper wire connected to two new 5/8 inch diameter, 8-foot-long copper grounding rods, which will be pneumatically driven into the ground with at least 42 inches of cover. No existing utilities will be relocated, and no additional right-of-way will be required. Temporary traffic control measures must be implemented during work to ensure safety and minimize disruption. The work is part of ongoing utility maintenance and is not associated with any new construction or infrastructure expansion.
