CREH proposes to rework 354X-7R located in the Elk Hills Oilfield. The proposed rework is located on private land with private minerals. The rework consists of plugging back with cement and adding perforations within the same zone. The proposed rework falls under Group A & B of CalGEMs rework exemptions guidance document published in December 2023. The proposed rework will take approximately 9 to 12 days to complete each rework. Temporary equipment such as pumps and return bins may be needed. Various mobile temporary equipment will be used including, but not limited to, workover rig, etc., and vehicles to transport personnel and materials to/from the site. No production facilities and no new ground surface disturbance will be associated with the rework. Any waste materials will be properly disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
