Caltrans District 7 has approved a temporary encroachment permit for Crimson Pipeline, LLC to conduct standard pipeline maintenance, inspection, and repairs on an existing pipeline located within the Caltrans right-of-way along State Route 126 at post mile R16 in unincorporated Ventura County. The scope of work includes traffic control activities and the excavation of an area averaging 6 feet by 10 feet with a depth of 5 feet. These activities are designed to expose the pipeline for anomaly assessment, remove existing coating, clean the pipeline surface, and perform necessary repairs. The project requires no relocation of public utilities and no acquisition of new right-of-way.
