SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Consolidated Mail-Out Phamacy(CMOP) located in Charleston, SC, is proposing to negotiate a contract with Jemni Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business(SD/VOSB) on a sole source basis for the initial procurement of IMPACKT mailer bags to provide an initial stock of supplies to be tested for future operational use. The Government believes the reason justifying this sole source procurement is that only one responsible source can meet the needs that will satisfy the agency's requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). This is not a request for quotes and any interested party may notify the network contracting office (NCO) 15, via email to contact@example.gov to express their ability to provide these products for future needs.
