The government plans to award a sole source purchase order to OSHKOSH Truck Parts for an auger housing specifically designed for an OSHKOSH snowblower, part number 1891110W. This procurement is intended to support a currently owned snowblower and will be conducted without full and open competition under the justification that OSHKOSH is the only responsible source capable of meeting the agency's requirements. The auger housing is custom fabricated to unique specifications and blueprints owned by OSHKOSH, which are not available to other companies, thereby precluding competitive offers. The 55th Contracting Squadron has determined that no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement. This sole source notice was posted on November 13, 2002, under solicitation number F25600-03-T-0008, with the contracting office located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Interested parties with questions regarding this procurement are directed to contact SSgt Theresa Davis via email or facsimile.
