The Government intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Natus Medical, Inc. for a one-year service maintenance agreement on a Natus Electroencephalography (EEG) System. This action is being conducted under the authority that only one responsible source can meet the Government's unique requirements due to the specialized nature of the equipment and services provided. Although this notice is not a request for competitive bids, other interested and capable parties may submit capability statements or proposals by the specified deadline for consideration. Any submissions will be reviewed solely to determine whether a competitive procurement should replace the planned sole source contract, a decision that lies entirely with the Government. The solicitation, identified by number 36C25021Q1025, is managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs' Network Contract Office 10, based in Dayton, Ohio. The point of contact for this procurement is Contract Specialist Chad Kemper, who can be reached via email or phone for further information. Responses must be submitted by 3 PM Eastern Time on August 11, 2021, and the Government will not cover any costs incurred in the preparation of responses. If no suitable responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement of the EEG system maintenance services.
