This is a Sources Sought announcement ONLY; No solicitation exists at this time. In response a requirement from the Chemical Materials Agency, the US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking information on certified 8(a) sources that can provide materials, labor, and equipment required to design, deliver, and install office furniture in Aberdeen Proving Ground - South (Edgewood). Office furniture includes desks/desk systems, case goods, filing solutions, cabinetry, conference tables, chairs, bookshelves, and related hardware and materials. The U.S. Government desires to procure this requirement on a competitive 8(a) set aside, provided two or more qualified 8(a) businesses respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if two or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service.
