The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on an unrestricted, full and open basis for 160 gallons of thinner and 32 kits of epoxy in support of the U.S. Navy. The contractor shall provide the thinner and epoxy in accordance with specifications that will be on the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO on or about 25 July 2010.Delivery date is anticipated to be approximately 20 days after receipt of contract. Bending Machine will be shipped FOB destination to Tracy, CA 95304. Inspection and acceptance is FOB destination, Tracy, CA. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15 and 13.5. The solicitation will have a closing date of 06 July 2010. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-10-T-1940. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments.
