*** THIS POSTING IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL*** The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Carson is issuing this sources sought notice to identify the interest and ability of businesses to provide the Fort Carson Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) with 802.16 Go Box imminent failure replacement. This requirement is to provide the Fort Carson RNEC with the replacement of existing 802.16 hardware that enables RNEC to extend critical services to the customer at various locations throughout Fort Carson Colorado (FCCO) training areas and extended training areas, Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site (PCMS), where fiber is unavailable. Vendors MUST be able to meet the requirements set forth by FIPS 140-2 in order to meet the critical needs of this requirement. If FIPS 140-2 compliance cannot be met by any vendor, then that vendor is not a potential source for this requirement. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334419 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
