Contract award amount $516,536.30, Sole Source requirement. 05 July 2012 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. Security Assistance Office has the following requirement for uniform fabric. Part Number: ANCOP-SIERRA, Description: 50/50 NYCO RIPSTOP PSR, ANCOP-SIERRA AFGHAN FOREST PRINT, QTY: 49,301 YARDS. Part Number: ANCOP-SIERRA-2, Description: 50/50 NYCO RIPSTOP PSR, ANCOP-SIERRA AFGHAN FOREST PRINT SECOND QUALITY, QTY: 2,077 YARDS. The Rock Island Contracting Center - Reach back intends to make an award to ADS, 621 Lynnhaven PKWY STE 400, Virginia Beach, VA 23452-7448. Interested parties may email hans.w.jacobson.civ@mail.mil no later than 12 July 2012, 3 p.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) . Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 12 July 2012 at 3 p.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
