Full Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Sill, Oklahoma intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to K-Dub, DBA Lawton Ice IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Acquisition is for various quantities of bagged food grade ice on a short notice for an estimate period of a one year base and four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 312113 and the size standard is 500 employees. Per Army Regulation (AR) 30-22, Section III, 5-19, and DA Pam 30-22, Chapter 5, requires potable ice for installation needs shall be procured locally. Manufacturer shall be USDA approved per Veterinary Services with an approved Lawton/Fort Sill distributor providing ice to Lawton Ice for a local procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers and is posted for seven (7) calendar days. No solicitation package will be available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 4:00 pm CST, 16 April 2015, the BPA will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
