SUNY Schenectady Natural Gas Supply Services
Solicitation # 2140092
SUNY Schenectady is soliciting quotes through RFQ 2026-07 for the provision of fixed-price natural gas supply services. The college is seeking qualified suppliers and brokers to provide all-inclusive pricing on a per-therm basis for either a three-year or five-year contract term, with a projected start date of February 1, 2027. All accounts are located within NYISO Zone F in the National Grid/NIMO territory. This procurement is conducted as a competitive sealed bid for a commodity purchase, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders are not required to submit a technical proposal but must provide a cost bid in a separate sealed envelope along with several mandatory certifications, including conflict of interest disclosures, non-collusive bidding certifications, and evidence of authorization to supply natural gas in New York State. The deadline for bid submissions is November 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Successful bidders must maintain industry-standard insurance and ensure all assigned staff execute non-disclosure agreements.
