AlexRenew is soliciting bids for a four-year contract for the provision of natural gas to be delivered via Washington Gas to four active accounts in Alexandria, Virginia. The contract period runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2031, with an estimated average annual usage of 66,000 therms. The award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the price per unit provided in the bid form. While unit prices remain firm through December 31, 2027, subsequent annual adjustments are tied to the percentage change in the U.S. Energy Information Administration Henry Hub Natural Gas Spot Price. Bidders must be authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Virginia and provide a valid SCC identification number. The solicitation requires strict adherence to the provided terms; alternate bids or conditional bids with unauthorized exceptions will be deemed nonresponsive. Contractors must comply with Virginia Occupational Safety and Health, EPA, and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality standards. Invoicing is to be handled monthly via email, with payments due within 30 days of receipt of a correct invoice. All bids must be submitted through the eVA Supplier Portal by the deadline of November 3, 2026.
