Full Description

Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to extend Delivery Order 0004 for contract W91ZLK-11-D-0006 until 31 May 2015 with AmeriGas, 460 N. Gulph Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406-2815 on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 230(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. ACC-APG intends to extend the existing effort starting on 1 MAR 2015 to allow time for follow on contract to be awarded. Delivery Order 0004 for contract W91ZLK-11-D-0006 is for is to provide Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), North, South and Churchville area, with the supply of an estimated 225,000 gallons of propane to 122 various sized tanks. For each gallon of propane delivered, the contactor shall be paid based on the actual Wall Street Journal per gallon price on that day of delivery plus the contractor's proposed per gallon coefficient (mark-up). The contractor's coefficient shall cover costs associated with delivery of propane on a per gallon basis. The proposed coefficient may include, but not be limited to, such items as labor, transportation, and overhead. North American Industry Classification System code is 221210 with a size standard of 500. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No Solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses received within ten (10) days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
