These parts, which have not been previously procured by NSWC Crane, include heater retainers, air duct hubs, heater supports, guard assemblies, and adapter guards, all manufactured to detailed specification control drawings. The components serve critical functions such as allowing airflow within MK-82 directors, supporting heater elements, and preventing water intrusion of train bearings. Quantities for each part range from a minimum order of 15 to 45 units up to a maximum of 150 to 300 units, with specific coating and fabrication requirements outlined, including anodic coatings and exclusion of painting or marking. The contract is designated as a 100% small business set-aside, with delivery FOB destination to NSWC Crane in Indiana. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. The solicitation, numbered N00164-06-R-8978, was to be issued competitively around June 26, 2006, with proposals due by July 10, 2006.
