This contract modification updates the solicitation number, extending the anticipated solicitation date to April 10, 2008, and increases the maximum contract value to $1.9 million. It involves procurement of Chaplain's Kits and their components under an unrestricted competition, subject to the Berry Amendment and Buy American Act, requiring contractors to have an active CAGE code and registration in the CCR and DIBBS systems. The contract is structured as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a base year and four option years, guaranteeing minimum annual dollar values at 25% of estimates and allowing multiple deliveries to Suffolk, VA. The evaluation criteria emphasize Product Demonstration Models, past performance, and socioeconomic support, replacing the previous DLA Mentoring factor. The procurement includes specific National Stock Numbers for various Chaplain's Kits and components, with the potential to add additional NSNs or special awards after contract award. The solicitation and amendments will be posted electronically via the DIBBS system, and vendors must complete registration through CCR and DIBBS to participate. Compliance with defense acquisition regulations ensures that clothing, textiles, and specialty metals meet domestic sourcing requirements unless exceptions apply. Technical data, patterns, and specifications can be requested through a dedicated DSCP web portal, facilitating vendor access to necessary materials for fulfillment. The contract specialist responsible for this solicitation can be contacted for further information.
