Full Description

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph Section 3.2.2.4, Single-Source Selection, industry is hereby informed of the FAA's intent to award a contract to Human Solutions, Inc., to provide Operational and Integration Services to support the En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) Program through the Initial Operating Capability (OIS) phase of deployment to 20 Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs). This work will include providing air traffic control subject matter experts (SME)in ERAM and air traffic operation to participate in formal testing of ERAM builds, analyze discrepancy and problem reports, and to support on-site ERAM test and training activities at the 20 en route air traffic control centers. A market survey for this work was submitted to industry on February 12, 2009 and expired on February 27, 2009, to determine acquisition strategy. Based on the results of this market survey, the Agency has determined that it is in the best interest of the government to procure these services on a single source basis.
