Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Irwin (MICC), California, intends to extend the current contract for a period of up to ten (10) months in accordance with approved Justification and Approval (J&A) dated 3 February 2014, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The incumbent contractor is Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc., Herndon, Virginia under contract W9124B-13-C-0005. The period of performance of the extended services is 01 April 2014 thru 31 January 2015 (4 month base plus 6 one-month options). The support services to be provided by the contract extension consists of logistical support services consisting of the following functions; Theater Class III Supply Points (POL), Theater Ammunition Supply Point (TASP), DSSA Warehouse Support, and Forward ASL quote mark s quote mark C quote mark and quote mark D ASL quote mark s, Theater Pre-positioned Operations and Equipment, Government Furnished Equipment Maintenance Operations, Petroleum Oils and Lubricants (POL) Laboratory, Operations Group Equipment and Support, Civilian on the Battlefield Vehicle (COB-V), Logistics Support Operations (LSO). This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. The determination by the government to extend the services of the existing contract is to allow for completion of the follow on action by the MICC-JBLM. The justification will be made available in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be provided to the MICC office executing the competed contract action for these services.
