The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency [US EPA] Mid-Continent Ecology Division, intends to award a sole source fixed-price acquisition utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Fluid Metering, Incorporated of Syosset, New York, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this acquisition is to procure seven (7) Q Pump Drive Modules, (90 VDC Duplex Plus V300, Part No. Q2V), along with associated accessories. It has been determined that because the EPA currently posses a group of these modules, procuring more of the same would provide for interchangeability, consistency and ongoing technical knowledge of the product. Therefore, it has been determined this firm is the only known company uniquely qualified to provide these products. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Not withstanding any firm who believes it is capable of meeting the EPA's requirement for these products as stated herein, may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendiar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed acquisitions based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Mark Horngren via email at contact@example.gov.
