Full Description

NASA Glenn Research Center has released the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) forthe Protective Services procurement. It is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned SmallBusiness (SD-VOSB) set-aside. An Industry Day is scheduled for July 19, 2011, at 9:00a.m. (EST). Interested offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site whereProtective Services will be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general andlocal conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that theinformation is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the siteconstitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The site will NOT BE OPEN FORINSPECTION AT ANY OTHER TIME, unless authorized by amendment to this solicitation.Interested offerors are required to park and sign in at Building 500 on the North Side ofBrookpark Road at least 45 minutes prior to the site showing. Offerors are required tohave a valid state drivers license in order to sign in at NASA Glenn Research Center,Building 500. Due to National Security, company representation shall be limited to amaximum of two (2) persons per company.
