The National Park Service is seeking contractors to design, fabricate, and install a stainless steel structural support assembly for the observation deck of the Perry's Victory National Peace Memorial located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie, Ohio. This assembly will reinforce the fascia stone panels on all four sides of the deck. The project requires collaboration with the Government's Architect-Engineering firm to ensure proper design. Interested contractors must consider the detailed site conditions and risk factors outlined in the attached Risk Assessment Report and Site Visit Report from June 30, 2006. Communication and questions are centralized through the designated Contract Specialist, and direct contact with the Architect-Engineering firm is prohibited. Responses to this sources sought announcement are to be submitted via email within five calendar days from the posting date of July 20, 2006.
