PURPOSE: This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), Section 3.2.1.2.1. The information solicited through this RFI will be used to assess market availability of the equipment and/or services described under the TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT portion of this announcement. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: The FAA has a requirement for a WAAS Third-Generation Reference Receiver which meet the capabilities specified in the attached WAAS Third-Generation Reference Receiver RFI and WAAS Backward Compatibility Message and Measurement Processing Requirements document. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All interested parties must submit a Capability Statement responsive to the requirements delineated in the attached RFI. As specified in the RFI, responses are due prior to the closing of this announcement which is May 12, 2008, 4PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST).
