Marine Corps Systems Command plans to procure 3,866 fifteen-round 9 mm magazine pouches and 1,508 12-gauge shotgun ammunition pouches through a sole-source contract modification with Eagle Industries Unlimited, the incumbent supplier. This purchase is part of the ILBE Pouch Improvement Program and addresses a critical shortfall identified by a refinement in the Total Force Structure Management System, which revealed a deficit for the Security Group. The contract modification will be made under contract number M67854-07-C-3067, with no solicitation document issued. This procurement falls under NAICS code 314911 and is managed by the Department of Defense through the Marine Corps Systems Command located in Quantico, Virginia. Point of contact for inquiries is Mark Sanderson, Contract Specialist, reachable via email. The urgency and specificity of the requirements highlight the importance of maintaining continuity with the established vendor to ensure operational readiness and meet the rigorous demands of the armed forces.
