Full Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Greeneridge Sciences, Inc., Santa Barbara California to provide six (6) bio-acoustic probes (B-Probes) with all support and ancillary equipment. NOAA requires acoustic dosimeter sampling equipment to acquire continuous acoustic measurements either from deployments on marine animals or within their habitats. These tags are to be deployed on animals in order to obtain full-spectrum, continuous acoustic data in conjunction with other environmental data and animal movement measurements. Notwithstanding the Government?s intent to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253 ( c ) (1), responsible sources may submit a statement of qualifications which, if timely received, will be considered by NOAA.
