The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Unites States Army have selected the Boeing/SAIC team as the Future Combat Systems (FCS) Lead Systems Integrator (LSI). As the LSI, Boeing and SAIC will act as the Government?s partner, with total systems integration responsibility for designing, developing, producing, fielding and supporting the FCS systems of systems to achieve the Army Objective Force by the end of this decade. The LSI team will be soliciting industry participation to provide the Army with the most effective / best value FCS solution for fielding in 2010. To achieve this objective, Broad Industry Announcements (BIAs) will be issued encouraging industry to propose capabilities and solutions for consideration in meeting the FCS Program objectives. Communication with industry will be accomplished through the use of the Boeing FCS public access website at http://www.boeing.com/fcs. Information pertaining to the technologies being sought, as well as other information related to the FCS Program may be accessed at this site.
