The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to Eragen Biosciences. Bead-based assay for coagulation, thrombosis, MC PCR solutions and MC Hybridization Solution. These laboratory supplies are patented by the vendor and cannot be duplicated without the permission they are also part of an on-going research. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-3. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
