Full Description

The Department of Health and Human Services(DHHS)/Health Resources and Services Administration(HRSA), has a requirement for a full and open competition for research and development support services related to the National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses VIII. It is planned that the contractor shall create a national sampling frame of all licensed registered nurses in the nation, select the sample, and carry out the study of the Eighth National Sample of Registered Nurses. Specifically, the activities to be carried out include: preparing the sampling frame; selecting the sample of approximately 54,000; conducting the sample survey utilizing the survey instrument developed by Federal Government, including mailing and online response; processing of questionnaires; summarization of data; conducting non-response assessments, non-response weight adjustments, and designing and developing a database for the information collected. The planned period of performance is for a two(2) year cost reimbursement type contract. Interested offerors may request a copy of solicitation number HRSA-230-BHPR-004(03). It is planned that the solicitation, a Request for Proposals(RFP), shall be available on or around April 23, 2003.
