A--Research and Development of SBIR efforts in Security Mode Verification for Untrusted Work

The Naval Sea Systems Command is set to negotiate and award a modification to an existing Small Business Innovation Research contract with Mountain Wave, focusing on the development, engineering, and integration of software for command and control information assurance, intrusion incident management, and cyber warfare systems. This work will provide critical technical expertise, concept development, and software engineering support directly aligned with Advanced Persistent Threat 2 (APT2) projects and operational support for USSPACECOM/JTF-CNO. Additionally, the contract modification includes consultative support across various Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (ACTDs) and Command and Control (C2) integration projects under the AITS-JPO. Mountain Wave's role is central, as they are the original developers of the core software technology tailored for cyber warfare systems, making them uniquely qualified to deliver on this effort. The contract aims to advance research and development efforts focusing on security mode verification for untrusted work environments, reinforcing cyber defense capabilities through innovative software solutions and demonstrations. This modification supports ongoing operational needs and integration efforts across multiple defense initiatives tied to cyber security and information assurance.
