The City of Palm Coast is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors. The Work consists of the construction of over 16,100-ft of new 8”-12” sewer force main plus 4”-6” sewer force main stub-outs along A1A from Jungle Hut Road to Mala Compra Road and along Mala Compra Road from SR A1A to Mala Compra Park. Jack and Bore construction includes 58-ft (+/-) of new 24” ductile Iron force main. Directional drill construction includes 2,140-ft (+/-) of new 14” PE force main, 1,539-ft (+/-) of new 10” PE force main and 563-ft (+/-) of new 6” PE force main. Open cut construction includes 10,005-ft (+/-) of new 12” PVC force main, 1,728-ft (+/-) of new 8” PVC force main, 44-ft (+/-) of new 6” PVC force main and 83-ft (+/-) of new 4” PVC force main. This project includes work in areas that include coquina shell / rock: It is not a continuous shelf of coquina, but rather fragments of coquina rock which are mixed within the sand.
