AAFC REQUEST FOR SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT - PMC Analysis of Pesticide Residues

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is establishing a Supply Arrangement under solicitation CSC2627-0278 to qualify suppliers for the chemical analysis of pesticide residues on crop samples collected from field trials in Canada and the United States. The objective is to support regulatory submissions to Health Canada’s Pesticides Regulatory Directorate for new minor pesticide uses. The arrangement will run from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031, with services provided on an as-and-when-requested basis via Task Authorizations. All work must be performed at the contractor's site in strict accordance with OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practices and Health Canada's Residue Chemistry Guidelines. To qualify, bidders must pass mandatory technical gates, including providing proof of GLP compliance via an SCC certificate or US EPA inspection report, a list of available analytical instruments, and a letter of reference. Qualified suppliers will be evaluated on their experience with specific crop fractions and study types. The scope of work includes trial workplan submission, method development and validation, sample analysis, frozen storage stability determination, and the delivery of final analytical reports and raw data. Payment is based on a firm all-inclusive price per trial, invoiced monthly upon acceptance by the Project Authority. Proposals must be submitted by September 10, 2026, to Kyle Harrington at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
