The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the removal and replacements of two existing HVAC units from the roof of the PMC office building. Work includes the contractor' s responsibility for complete cleanup and disposal of garbage and old materials, excluding the current HVAC units that are being replaced. All work will be done in accordance with applicable codes. Supplies will be premium grade manufactured by a reputable vendor.

After removal of current HVAC units, the roof area will be cleaned in preparation for the installation of two new heat pump/gas backup hybrid roof top units. The new units will be attached to existing ductwork. Electric and gas will be connected to existing lines. Electrical control wiring will be connected to existing programmable thermostats that have battery backups. The system will be started and tested for proper operation.

The current HVAC units will be disconnected and removed with care, for potential use elsewhere. Units will be lowered to ground level, set on pallets, and strapped to the pallets so the Government can relocate units as needed.
