New Braunfels Utilities ("NBU") invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") from qualified firms interested in providing construction services in connection with the construction of AC Pipe Replacement Solms (IH 35) (the "Project"). The Project has been designed by Quiddity Engineering, LLC. The Project includes the following items within its scope: (i) construction of approximately 2,730 linear feet ("LF") of 4-inch, 6-inch, and 12-inch water main piping by open cut; (ii) pressure reducing valve ("PRV"); (iii) grout fill abandonment of existing piping; (iv) removal of existing piping (including removal of asbestos cement pipe); (v) traffic control; (vi) storm water pollution prevention; (vii) restoration; and (viii) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project; and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. Responses are solicited for this service in accordance with the terms, conditions, and instructions set forth in this RFP.
