The solicitation is forecasted to be posted on August 1, 2026, and is part of the Department of Agriculture’s broader operational logistics framework to maintain readiness and responsiveness in federal land management. The contract scope focuses on establishing and maintaining incident base camps, critical infrastructure that supports personnel, equipment, and coordination during emergency incidents. While specific details such as NAICS code, set-aside information, and performance locations are not yet defined, the effort will be administered by the Forest Service and will apply broadly across the national system of incident zones.
