The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has a requirement to provide maintenance and upgrade services for the Mobile Servicing System (MSS) Operations and Training Simulator (MOTS) system. The MOTS is a training facility that provides astronauts and cosmonauts with the skills and abilities to operate the MSS, including (but not limited to) the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS), also called Canadarm2. The primary purpose of MOTS is to provide a high fidelity real-time simulation of the MSS on-orbit behaviour to allow the CSA personnel to perform the following tasks: Complete MSS generic training for both crew and ground support personnel,Develop and validate MSS operational procedures,Analyze MSS anomalous behaviour.
