By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders for Acquisition and classification of airborne LiDAR transect data in the northern forests of Canada. The transects have been divided between four (4) acquisition areas (Figure 2, Table 1). It is the responsibility of the vendor to bid on individual areas(s) (i.e. each of the four (4) areas should be costed individually), and bids may be made on any number of the four (4) areas. A vendor is not required to fly all four (4) areas and may submit a proposal identifying a subset to be flown. The RFP is subject to CLCA and right of first refusal will be given to a compliant supplier located in their CLCA.
