Full Description

The purpose of this requirement is to provide senior analytical, program development design consultation, senior level facilitation, administrative, technical and event support for an orientation program for new SES members within the DoD for Advanced Professional Executives Program (APEX). The APEX Senior Executive Program is the 4th Estate's executive orientation program that is offered twice a year and accessible to Executives from across the Department. The program is designed to provide newly appointed Executives with both a practical and theoretical understanding of the structure and processes of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Combatant Commands, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Military Departments. The program helps new leaders gain an enterprise-wide perspective that encompasses expectations, opportunities, and challenges currently facing our DoD leadership. The program is a total of two-weeks. Participants spend one week in Washington, D.C., and meet with the senior leaders of the Department. The second week consists of site visits at Combatant Commands and selected military installations across the United States.
