AFCENT Futures INDUSTRY DAY EVENT

October 15, 2026 – October 16, 2026

INTRODUCTION: AFCENT Futures Lab is sponsoring in-person Industry Day events. The purpose of these Industry Days is to provide an opportunity for industry to deliver information on their capabilities that may be relevant to AFCENT priorities. AFCENT Futures initial Industry Day will be held by invitation only, in-person on 15-16 October 2026 in the AFCENT Futures Living Lab located at 7th Floor – Suite 7550, 3401 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22201.

The AFCENT Futures Industry Day event is UNCLASSIFIED. Companies will register via the URL (listed in the message). Registration opens at 0800 ET on 1 Oct 2026 and closes at 1700 ET on Thursday 8 October 2026.  The AFCENT Futures Team will review registrants and assign timeslots.  Timeslots are not guaranteed.  No later than 1700 ET on 9 October 2026, a follow-on email will be sent to registrants, providing either an assigned timeslot or advising that a timeslot was not assigned. 

This Industry Day event announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes as part of AFCENT Futures market research; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal. No solicitation document exists, and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government from the Industry Day event, questions, or Government responses. The Government will not be liable for any expenses associated with individual or corporate attendance of this Industry Day event, nor is the Government obligated in any manner based on any submitted question, answer, or response submission. The information obtained through this Industry Day event may be used by the USAF in developing a future Acquisition Strategy, Performance Work Statement, Statement of Objectives, or Performance Based Specifications.

ATTENDEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADEQUATELY IDENTIFYING, GUARDING AND PROTECTING PROPRIETARY OR COMPETITION SENSITIVE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THEIR DISCOURSE, DEMONSTRATION, OR PRESENTATION PROVIDED TO GOVERNMENT. The Government shall not be liable for damages stemming from improperly identified or discussed proprietary information.  The information provided in this Industry Day announcement and event is notional and may change. The Government is under no obligation to revise any aspect of this announcement should any Government-delivered information herein or at the event change. The Government will provide additional information and issue additional requests for information at its sole discretion.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: AFCENT Futures is seeking innovative industry solutions for capabilities in the following areas: 1. Unmanned Systems, 2. Resiliency, and 3. Modeling and Simulations.  Industry with capabilities within these areas are encouraged to register via the URL provided in this message.  Priority for this Industry Day Event will focus on Unmanned Systems.

Examples of capabilities of interest to AFCENT Futures for this industry day event include, but are not limited to:  

• Unmanned Systems - Layered ISR Approach (Priority for this Industry Day)
• Unmanned Systems - Systems in mass, repairable at the edge (Priority for this Industry Day)
• Unmanned Systems – One-Way Attack
• C-UAS
• Passive Radars for ATC
• Modeling & Simulation

Future Industry Day events may include additional targeted capabilities, which will be defined in future announcements.

INDUSTRY DAY AGENDA: Those registrants assigned an Industry Day timeslot should be focused on technical capabilities and how their capabilities might meet current and future AFCENT needs outlined above.  Participation in the Industry Day event is not a prerequisite for submitting any future proposal.

AFCENT Futures will NOT provide opening or closing comments. Attendance during each brief is limited to the registering company and not open to the public.  Timeslots are tentatively scheduled for 30 minutes per invitation.

Only (1) submission per company will be accepted, thus please check all capabilities.  Limit white papers and info sheets to a total of four pages per capability.

The AFCENT Futures Team will review all requests, verify registrant US Person Status, and assign timeslots at their discretion.  Timeslots are not guaranteed.  A follow-on email will be sent to registrants, providing either an assigned timeslot (and associated logistics information) or advising that a timeslot was not assigned. Participation in this Industry Day event is not to be construed as either a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services, or for the Government to pay costs for any information received. Participation in this AFCENT Futures Industry Day event is at the sole expense of the attendees. The AFCENT Futures Industry Day content is UNCLASSIFIED. The event is limited to US citizens only. Foreign nationals may not participate in the AFCENT Futures Industry Day.
