THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS REQUEST IS NOT A SOLICITATION. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. The 338th Specialized Contracting Squadron (338th SCONS) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide routine and emergency maintenance services for 13 Xerox WorkCentre 7545 Copy Machines at six (6) locations on Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph Air Force Base (AFB), Texas (see Attachment 1). This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The information will be used in conducting market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Contact with Government personnel, other than those specified in this RFI, by potential offerors or their employees' regarding this requirement is not permitted. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the Government. Should a future requirement evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated the period of performance will be for five (5) years (Base Year + four (4) Option Years). It is also anticipated the type of contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. For purposes of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811212, Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $27.5 Million. Respondents of this RFI may be requested to provide additional information / details based on their initial submittals. The Government reserves the right to select, one, some, or none of the submissions for further investigation. Contractors who submit information in response to this RFI do so with the understanding that U.S. Government personnel as well as their support Contractors may review their material and or data. Description of Services: The 338th SCONS at JBSA Randolph AFB, Texas, requires routine and emergency maintenance services for 12 Xerox WorkCentre 7545 Copy Machines at six (6) locations on JBSA Randolph AFB (see Attachment 1). The 338 SCONS/PKB is considering a performance-based approach for 12 Xerox WorkCentre 7545 Copy Machines at Randolph Air Force Base, TX. The Performance-Based approach emphasizes results in terms Service Call and Service Report Response time (see Attachment 1). Request for Information: If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described above, please provide a Capability Statement to Jason Barbour @jason.barbour.2@us.af.mil by 10 Nov 16 @ 1200 CST. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. At a minimum the following information is requested: 1. Company Cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact and their telephone number and e-mail address. 2. Approximate annual gross revenue. 3. Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.). 4. Indicate if your company primarily does business in the commercial or Government sector. 5. Please describe any commercial-sector contracts you have performed for similar combined services (if applicable) and your role (Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, other). 6. Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under for Government contracts. 7. Please provide brief information you feel would indicate your capability to support and sustain routine and emergency maintenance services for 12 Xerox WorkCentre 7545 Copy Machines at six (6) locations on JBSA Randolph AFB over a period of five (5) years.
