Full Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Stratasys located at 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for the acquisition for services required to maintain operational level of an already existing device currently owned for the Diamond Care OBJET500 CNX3 OBJET500 CONNEX 3 Printer 570379. This is a maintenance agreement that speaks to preventative maintenance, on site service, call center availability, replacement of parts, software maintenance and updates to the system. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 811212, Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. The business size standard is $27.5M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
