AGI requires the services of an Engineering Consultant to assess and develop a conceptual framework for SCADA, control and communications capabilities for the MVSW Headworks System. The study will include the assessment, planning, and conceptual design of communications and SCADA system development to support reliable monitoring, alarming, reporting, and remote operations. The primary objectives of this study are to: • Assess existing communications and control infrastructure throughout the Headworks System. • Determine the requirements for a reliable communications network which would connect key operational sites throughout the Headworks System. • Evaluate SCADA system options and technologies which would fully integrate to the existing AGI SCADA network. • Support real-time monitoring, data collection, alarm notification, and remote operation capabilities. • Enable remote operation of facilities at Payne Lake and other identified locations. • Identify operational needs, challenges, and future requirements. • Develop a preferred SCADA and communications solution. • Define the scope and budget requirements for a future capital implementation project.
