Full Description

The USPFO for Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to FLIR Systems Incorporated, located at 25 Esquire Road, N. Billerica, MA 01862. The award will be made for the purchase of an ULTRA 7500B+ Airborne Imaging System. This procurement is being conducted pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. FLIR Systems is the only known source tha t has an Air Worthiness Release from AMCOM and it is the standard system for the OH-58 aircraft. All qualified sources must respond in writing not later than 2:00 pm cst on August 22, 2006. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed con tract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
