The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst is seeking information from industry on the availability of a non-developmental or commercial-off-the-shelf Aircraft Interface Device (ACID) to connect the MQ-4C Triton Aircraft with the Getac X500G3 Ruggedized Laptop, known as the Dynamic Information Notebook Organizer (DINO, P/N 504045-1001), for use in support of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Systems program. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Information (RFI) solely for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or a commitment to award a contract. Respondents are asked to provide technical details on proposed ACID designs, including materials, innovative features, and feasibility feedback on a draft specification available upon submission of a valid DD2345 form via DOD SAFE. Additionally, companies are required to share their experience in developing ruggedized aerospace or defense electronics, technical capabilities in design and manufacturing, and a non-binding Rough Order of Magnitude cost estimate and preliminary schedule. Administrative information such as organization name, address, point of contact, business type—including classifications like small business, 8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, or woman-owned—and country of origin for main components must be included in responses. The RFI was initially posted on June 30, 2026, with an original deadline of June 30, 2026, but Amendment 001 revised the response deadline to August 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The page limit for submissions was also increased from 10 to 15 pages. Responses must be submitted in PDF format via email to the designated points of contact and should be organized into two sections: administrative details and technical information. The government will not pay for submitted information, will not return responses, and will not notify respondents of review outcomes. Proprietary information must be clearly marked, and failure to do so relinquishes any claim for liability. While no contract award is anticipated from this RFI, any future formal solicitation will be published on the Beta SAM website. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 334111, and the place of performance is Lakehurst, New Jersey. No set-aside is in effect, and no funding or contract value is specified as this is purely an information-g
