UPDATE 8 FEBRUARY 2022 The industry day recording can be found on Youtube at this link: https://youtu.be/CIgutvBZXs4 If the link does not work, please search Youtube for the NavalX channel, or for "US Navy Maritime Search & Rescue UAS Industry Day" ---------------------------------- AIRWorks MSAR Technology Demonstration INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT U.S. Navy Maritime Search and Rescue UAS Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) AIRWorks, in collaboration with the Unmanned Task Force and in support of PMA-263, plans to conduct an Industry Day. This is to provide further information concerning the Request for Information for the AIRWorks MSAR Technology Demonstration released on 12 January 2022, at SAM.Gov: http://go.usa.gov/xtBru. As stated in the RFI, AIRWorks intends to accelerate the identification and evaluation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) capable of performing wide-area Maritime Search and Rescue (MSAR) missions from a surface vessel. The team is especially interested in systems that do not require dedicated launch and recovery equipment, and can perform at long ranges for extended periods while relaying accurate rescue/relevant location information to the host vessel. More specifically, the team is interested in locating personnel adrift, downed airliners (e.g., finding debris, oil slicks, beacons), ships in distress, or other incidents at sea, through a variety of technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence (AI), Electro-optic, Infrared (EO/IR), Full Motion Video (FMV), Maritime Wide-Area Search (MWAS), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Electronic Sensing (ES)). Upon discovery of applicable Point of Interests (POI), the team is also interested in the relaying of data in a timely manner to the Command and Control (C2) parent in conditions in which Satellite Communications (SATCOM) may not be available. NAWCAD will sponsor an at-sea technology demonstration in summer 2022. This will be part of a multi-phased merit-based selection process for the potential award of an Other Transaction (OT) prototype project under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2371b. Date/Location: The Industry Day will be held on 26 January 2022 at 1:00 PM EST. This industry day will be virtual and only accessible via Zoom for Government. There will be no in-person participation. Register at: https://www.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/6116426244410/WN_8ravJZs4R9unENeBIbWaoQ. Solicitation # N0042126R1011
Solicitation N0042126R1011 is a Request for Proposal issued by the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division for T-6 and T-34 aircraft maintenance and contractor logistics support. The requirement is a full and open competition for a single-award IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period. The scope of work includes general maintenance for T-6 aircraft, satellite site support for T-34 aircraft, preservation and depreservation services, and specialized support such as variable flight hour surge and detachment mobilization. Performance is required across multiple locations, including NAS Corpus Christi, NAS Whiting Field, and NAS Pensacola, and involves operations for manned fixed-wing aircraft equipped with ejection seats and On-Board Oxygen Generating Systems. The contract utilizes a mix of pricing structures, including Firm Fixed Price for monthly maintenance and site support, Composite Hourly Firm Fixed Price for premium labor and engineering services, and Cost-Reimbursement for parts, materials, and emergent travel. Award will be determined via a tradeoff process to identify the best value, with Technical being the most important factor, followed by Past Performance, and then Small Business participation; combined, these non-price factors are significantly more important than price. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the PIEE Solicitation Module by November 6, 2026, and must include five distinct volumes covering contract administration, technical approach, past performance, cost/price, and small business commitments.

NAWCAD WOLF Identification Systems Technical Management Support Services RFO
Solicitation # N0042126R1023
Solicitation N0042126R1023 is a small business set-aside request for proposal issued by the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division for Identification Systems Technical Management Support Services at the Webster Outlying Field. This firm-fixed-price level of effort task order, managed under the SeaPort-NxG Multiple Award Contract, covers a five-year period of performance consisting of one base year and four option years. The requirement specifies a total of 430,070 direct labor hours to support the organic Lead Systems Integrator model across four core technical areas: technical management, budget execution and N-ERP support, material procurement, and data management, as well as graphics, media, and communications support for various major defense acquisition programs. The contract requires a hybrid work model with a mandate for three days of on-site performance per week at Patuxent River or St. Inigoes, Maryland. Award decisions are based on a non-price rating system where technical capabilities, evaluated through a sample task and key personnel resumes, and past performance are used to determine a highest evaluated threshold, with price serving as the final deciding factor among equal ratings. Contractors must comply with strict security standards, including NISPOM and CMMC requirements, and utilize the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing. Deliverables are managed through a formal Contract Data Requirements List, and performance is monitored via a systematic Contract Surveillance Plan and CPARS evaluations.
