The County of Orange, OC Public Works, is seeking a three-year as-needed supply contract for aluminum traffic legend stencils in metric dimensions and high-visibility reflective vinyl road construction signs, with the potential to extend for two additional years by mutual agreement. All materials must be new, unopened, and strictly compliant with the 2026 California MUTCD and Caltrans Standard Specifications, including specific design criteria such as 2-inch black borders, 8-inch minimum letter height for “BIKE LANE,” and 16” x 8” dimensions for “LANE” text, with rolled edges on aluminum stencils for safety. The contract covers a comprehensive list of 58 individual items, including full alphabet stencils, standard road signs like “Road Work Ahead,” “No Left Turn,” and “Bike Lane Arrow,” as well as Dicke Safety SDL1000P sign stands. All items are delivered F.O.B. Destination with prepaid freight to the primary warehouse at 222 E. Bristol Street, Orange, CA 92865, or other designated county locations, with deliveries limited to Monday through Thursday between 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. and no deliveries permitted on Fridays. Bids are evaluated strictly on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, with award going to the lowest-priced offer that meets all technical and compliance thresholds; preference adjustments may apply for certified County of Orange Local Small Business or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise vendors. Offerors must hold a valid UEI number, provide required certifications regarding debarment, non-collusion, and tax identification, and disclose any conflicts of interest, litigation, or prior discussions with competitors.
