AM27-109 Ibapah-Clifton Flat Aerial Seeding

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Division of Wildlife Resources, is seeking quotes for aerial seeding services across 1,906 acres in Tooele County. The project is divided into two sites: Ibapah, covering 1,442 acres, and Clifton Flat, covering 504 acres. The selected contractor will be responsible for applying a government-furnished pre-mixed seed mix of grasses and forbs at a rate of approximately 8.7 lbs per acre. Performance is scheduled for October 19 through October 30, 2026, with a requirement to begin daily operations by 8:00 a.m. to minimize seed drift. The government reserves the right to postpone operations if wind speeds exceed 10 miles per hour. Technical requirements specify that aircraft must be equipped with GPS technology to ensure 100% coverage of the project areas. The contractor must provide all personnel and equipment necessary to load and unload seed from bulk totes. Award will be based on the lowest cost among responsive and responsible vendors who meet the objective mandatory minimum requirements. Contractors must maintain specific insurance coverage, including Workers Compensation and Commercial General Liability with a minimum of 1 million dollars per occurrence and 3 million dollars aggregate.
