Full Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Stoneworks Software Corporation, 2810 Chaney Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754-9223 to provide yearly software maintenance support and licenses for Ambassador middleware connectivity software. These products and services are commercial off the shelf IT items. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. An award notice will be publicized. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within five days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
